OUR THOUGHTS

Phuthuma Nhleko, MTN Group President and CEO expresses his deep sorrow following the tragedy that happened less than three months ago. He said, May 2007 was a sad month for the MTN Family. It was with great soorow that they learned a loss of their four MTN Cameroon colleagues and friends in the Kenya Airways crash on Saturday, 5 May. This was the most devastating occurrence in MTN’s short, 13- year history. Those they lost were Campbell Utton, CEO of MTN Cameroon, Patrick Njamfa, General Manager Legal/ Company Secretary, Patrice Enam, CNCC Co-ordinator and Chief Financial Officer Sarah Stewart and her husband Adam who were both aboard the flight. See their pictures below!

Our thoughts and prayers remain with their families, friends and colleagues.
